Chickpeas are great. They are cheap, nutritious, tasty, and extremely versatile.
Smokey Paprika Chickpeas
15 oz. Can Chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tsp cooking oil, (I used grapeseed)
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp sesame seeds
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp liquid smoke (optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste
- Toss all ingredients together in a bowl
- Sauté the chickpeas on medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes in a skillet. You can also roast them in an oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve over a salad or on it’s own. Enjoy!
